How the calculation works
Bundles needed = ceil((Roof area × (1 + Waste ÷ 100)) ÷ Coverage per bundle).
Example
2,000 sq ft roof area, 10% waste allowance, bundles covering 33.3 sq ft each (standard 3-bundle-per-square shingles): ceil((2,000×1.10)÷33.3) = ceil(2,200÷33.3) = ceil(66.1) = 67 bundles.
